An album released in 1973 by The Revolutionary Ensemble, a group formed in 1971 by Leroy Jenkins, Jerome Cooper, and Norris Jones. On this record, the trio of Leroy Jenkins, Jerome Cooper, and Sirone (formerly known as Norris Jones) performs two long compositions by Leo Smith—23 minutes on side A and 18 minutes on side B. Utilizing violin, viola, flute, drums, percussion, bass, and even a tape recorder, the trio delivers highly creative improvisations. The performance is so unique it can be appreciated as contemporary music, reminiscent of John Cage’s Cartridge Music. This is the original U.S. pressing, 2nd issue, identifiable by the different address printed on the back cover.
