emerged as a leading figure in post-bop in the early 1960s and later released acclaimed works on Denmark's SteepleChase label, including collaborations with Sun Ra. He is joined by American bassist Richard Davis, known for his work with Son Shirley’s group in the mid-1950s, supporting Sarah Vaughan, and leaving a legacy of masterpieces on Muse Records in 1973. This remarkable album showcases a deeply introspective duo, where the soft overtones of the vibraphone and the rich, resonant tones of the double bass intertwine gracefully, creating a floating, immersive soundscape.
