Belgian New Wave group Elisa Waut's second album, released in 1985, featuring female singer Els Helewaut on vocals, with Chery Derycke, Hans Helewaut, and Willie Clement. This album marks their debut in the analog format. Their sophisticated pop sensibility, reminiscent of labels like Crepscule and Crammed Discs, shines through with a perfect balance of electronics and band sound, incorporating rhythms influenced by tango and Latin. Els Helewaut's slightly melancholic, laid-back vocals add to the charm of this highly recommended album. While all tracks boast excellent sound production, the mellow breeze of track B1, which also resonates with artists like Sade, Antena, and Everything But The Girl, is particularly recommended.
