A collaborative work released in 1983 by Hector Zazou — a key member of the French chamber rock unit ZNR and known for numerous masterpieces as a solo artist, including contributions to the Made to Measure series — and Papa Wemba, a singer from the Congo who gained worldwide popularity through the world music movement. The release features an African dance track with rhythmically rich, percussive, danceable beats intertwined with Wemba’s distinctive vocals. Despite its simplicity, the emotional depth is outstanding. The B-side includes an instrumental version.
