The only full-length album by German New Wave group Kowalski, produced by legendary engineer Conny Plank of Dusseldorf, Germany, who has mixed many Krautrock albums, was released in 1982. The heavy electro track B3/B4, with its heavy rhythms and noisy overdriven guitars, is just awesome. In the 1980s, Conny Plank's mixing technique seems to have reached its maturity, and his ability to produce such a well-separated sound from each bandwidth is a divine feat. Original German pressing.
