This is the second album released in 1986 by Kujira, a group led by Yasuo Sugibayashi, who gained attention some years ago when his album "The Mask of the Imperial Family" and two 7-inch singles, initially released on the independent label Mimic Records in the early 1980s, were rediscovered and released in a compilation overseas. Co-produced by Yasuaki Shimizu and Seigen Ono, the album was recorded in Paris, France, where Shimizu had relocated at the time. In addition to the members' performances, Shimizu played computer, synthesizer, saxophone, and guitar, while Ono contributed guitar and Jojo percussion on two tracks. The album is a wonderful work that combines Sugibayashi's unique, exotic style with arrangements reminiscent of Shimizu's "Kakashi" and "Today's Latin Project," offering a type of sound that was very rare in Japan at the time.
