This double compilation album, released in 1981 by the prominent Belgian label Les Disques du Crepuscule, represents the Belgian New Wave scene. It features a rich collection of works by artists from the label, including Paul Haig, Soft Verdict, Winston Tong, as well as a diverse range of artists such as Orange Juice, The Durutti Column, Marguerite Duras, DNA, The Swamp Children, and Arthur Russell. One notable track is D4 by Arthur Russell, which remained exclusively available on this album until it was included in compilations from the 2000s, making it a rare gem. Additionally, B4 by The Swamp Children, a group derived from Kalima, is exclusively featured on this album in analog format. Highly recommended.
