This is the first volume of the "Brilliant Electone" series released in 1975 by Shigeo Sekito, who has been one of the leading figures in the Japanese electone world since his debut in 1967 when he won the Grand Prix at an electone competition, and has performed many times in Japan and abroad. Canadian indie rock artist Mac Demarco, known for his love of Haruomi Hosono and Japanese music, quoted "The Word" from the second release in the "Brilliant Electone" series, and Sekitoo Shigeo became instantly known worldwide. This album also features covers of classic soul and easy listening songs such as Stevie Wonder and The Three Degrees, as well as Sekitoo's original songs A5/B1, which are warm, comfortable, groovy and chill, played by electronic organs amplified with electrons and Leslie speakers.
A1: 涙のトッカータA3: そよ風と私
