An album released in 1978 by Akira Ito, who, along with Kitaro and Fumio Miyashita, was an original member of Japan's first progressive rock band, Far East Family Band. After leaving the band, Ito, like his former bandmates, became deeply immersed in Eastern mystical philosophies such as Buddhism, the Five Elements theory, and Indian philosophy, and produced numerous synthesizer music pieces. This work features lead instruments by Noboru Kimura, bass by Keiju Ishikawa, guitar/vocals by Nobuo Hocchi, piano/vocals by Kenji Mishiro, and vocals by Ako Kunikida. It blends natural environmental sounds to pursue a highly spiritual Japanese new age/ambient sound. Although it was conceived as relaxation music, the album is a fusion of the electronic sound inherited from the Far East Family Band and new age tastes.
