Edipan (Italy) 1985
PAN PRC S20-26 (LP) gatefold sleeve.
sleeve : EX-(slightly color-faded and dirts.)
media : EX-/EX-(some slightly surface noises. some slightly wear that does not affect to sounds.)

This album, released in 1985, features works by Alessandro Sbordoni, an Italian composer who was a member of the avant-garde music group Gruppo di Improvvisazione Nuova Consonanza and a professor of composition at the Dell'Aquila Conservatory. It is performed by Giuseppe Scotese (pf), Fernando Grillo (cb), and Mario Ancillotti (ft). All tracks are very interesting, but I recommend you B2. The first half of the piece is layered with spoken words, and the second half is an electroacoustic work on magnetic tape that develops into a noise/drone sound as if the concrete sounds were electronically modulated. The spatial processing of the sound image is also excellent. The spatial processing of the sound image is also excellent. Highly recommended.

This is a deadstock unused item whose shrink-wrapping was opened at our store to check its condition. The jacket is lightly faded/soiled due to age. There are some thin scuffs on the vinyl surface caused by the paper inner sleeve, but they do not affect the playback sound.

A1: Deux
B2: Parole e Oltre
