This is a 1961 album by American pianist Barry Harris, who had been active since the 1950s in groups with Thad Jones, Hank Mobley, and Pepper Adams, and also delivered notable performances with groups led by Charles McPherson, Sonny Red, and Jimmy Heath. The quintet features Lonnie Hillyer (trumpet), Charles McPherson (alto saxophone), Ernie Farrow (bass), and Clifford Jarvis (drums). The album includes a Latin jazz original score, A1, with vibrant melodies over lively beats, and A2, which is a speedy arrangement of a Cole Porter song, as well as covers of classics by Dizzy Gillespie and others. The touch is very light and soft. This is a US reissue by Fantasy, believed to have been released in the 1980s.
A1: Mucho Dinero
A2: Easy to Love
