An album released in 1974 by the South African jazz pianist/composer Dollar Brand, who has been active since the 1960s and has left behind numerous masterpieces with African themes. This is the second installment of a series produced by the German music journalist Joachim E. Berendt, with the Japanese edition being its initial release. Recorded at the Tonstudio Bauer in Ludwigsburg, Germany, well-known for many ECM productions, with engineering by Martin Wieland. The combination of minimal refrains in the left hand and the uplifting melodies sung by the right hand showcases Brand's quintessential piano solo, presented in high-quality sound.
