This album, released in 1978, is by Czech pianist Emil Viklicky, known for masterpieces like "Confluence" with Finnish multi-instrumentalist Jarmo Sermila and "Dvere" with Bill Frisell. Czech musicians such as Lubos Andrst (guitar), Frantisek Uhlir (bass), Milan Vitoch (drums), and Jan Beranek (violin) participated in the recording. The album features original compositions inspired by traditional Czech folk music. It is not a blatant copy of folk music; rather, it incorporates elements of folk music in the scales and phrasing, elevating them into highly sophisticated contemporary jazz. The light piano touch reflects influences from Chick Corea.
