George Adams & Don Pullen
Melodic Excursions
Timeless Records (Holland) 1982
SJP 166 (LP)
sleeve : EX-(very slightly dirts.)
media : EX-/EX-(some slightly surface noises. very slightly warp that does not affect to playback.)

This is a duo album by George Adams, an American saxophonist whose 1979 quintet work "Paradise Space Shuttle" was featured in the first edition of the guidebook "obscure sound", and pianist Don Pullen, a close friend of George Adams who played with Albert Ayler's group and others. The duo's performance is a wonderful one, with a free-jazz bent with uninhibited interplay, but also a wonderful duo performance that layers very beautiful and nostalgic phrases with a sincere love for old jazz and blues. Also recommended for those who like Pharoah Sanders.
