Saxophonist George Adams, who left behind numerous masterpieces such as Paradise Space Shuttle featured in the first edition of the guidebook Obscure Sound, has participated in many classic works ranging from spiritual artists like Hannibal, McCoy Tyner, and Cecil McBee to soul groups like The Fatback Band. This album, released in 1975 on the prestigious Italian label HORO, was recorded with his quartet featuring longtime collaborators Don Pullen (piano), David Williams (bass), and Dannie Richmond (drums) at Mama Dog Studios in Rome the same year. The album showcases Adams' style with highlights such as A3, where his earthy flute shines, B1, which is a quintessential earthy blues jazz track, and B2, featuring a rocking groove with an impressive rhythm section. This is a promotional copy of Japanese pressing.

A3: Requiem for a Slumload
B1: Payday Blues
B2: You Name It
