A 1983 album by Group 180, a group of contemporary musicians from Budapest, Hungary, whose 1985 work was featured in the guidebook "OBSCURE SOUND REVISED EDITION". A2 is a wooden percussion ensemble score composed by Steve Reich in 1973, in which a new melody is created by a clave rhythm played by five musicians. B1 is a 24+ minute long journey of a score composed in 1974 by Frederic Rzewski, a key figure in the cutting-edge psychedelic contemporary group Musica Elettronica Viva. Poetry readings are layered over horns and synthesizers that progress in a minimalist manner while bouncing with a unique fluctuation. All four tracks are very excellent. Highly recommended.
A2: Steve Reich “Music for Pieces of Wood”
A3: Laszlo Melis “Etude for Three Mirrors”
B1: Frederic Rzewski “Coming Together Attica”
