An album released in 1978 by the sextet led by German bassist Gunter Lenz, who started his career in the late 1950s and later joined groups such as those led by Albert Mangelsdorff and George Gruntz in the 1960s. He also participated as a member in a live performance by Leon Thomas in Berlin in 1971. The sextet, named Springtime, features Leszek Zadlo (ss, ts), Johannes Faber (tp), Bob Degen (p), Frank St. Peter (as, cl, ft), and Joe Nay (ds). The album showcases a wide, clear acoustic space filled with rich soundscapes, including the beautifully resonant A2 with Zadlo's melancholic tenor saxophone and Degen's elegant piano, and the cool B1 featuring the horn section layering abstract phrases over Nay's aggressive drumming.

A2: Gloomy Lights
B1: Holzbein
