Jack Dejohnette "New Directionas"

A leader album by drummer Jack DeJohnette, released in 1978, featuring a quartet with John Abercrombie (g), Lester Bowie (t), and Eddie Gomez (b). The work has a wonderful spiritual atmosphere full of funkiness, with Dejohnette's spacey drumming and Bowie's rumpet and Abercrombie's electric guitar floating in the air.
