Album released in 1978, featuring three of the leading figures in US avant-jazz, each of them a multi-talented musician: Jerome Cooper, Kalaparusha and Frank Lowe. Recorded live at a concert at The Environ, Broadway, New York, in 1977. A total free improvised performance featuring wood flute, tenor saxophone, clarinet, drums and various percussion groups including gongs, Indian bells and whistles. The entire piece is free music that can no longer be described as jazz. Lowe's unique saxophone like an elephant's scream is also amazing, but the percussion track with its primitive and minimalist refrain of percussion instruments is really superb. Highly recommended.
