An album released in 1988 by Hungarian composer József Sári, who studied under Endre Szervánszky at the Liszt Academy of Music for eight years from 1954, before moving to Germany in 1971 where he worked as a freelance composer, conductor, pianist, and teacher. The album features five compositions from what Sári considers the most significant period of his career, from the early 1970s to the early 1980s. Highlights include the string quartet A1, which uses the bow on the strings to produce electronic sounds and minimalism, and the early work B2, composed in 1972, which refers to chromaticism playing a major role in its structure. This is an unused item, with the shrink wrap opened at our store for condition verification.
