Le Grand Maitre Franco and his group T.P.O.K. Jazz, active since the 50's and leading the scene as international representatives of Congoleese music, released an album in 1988 featuring female singers Baniel Mbambo and Nana Akumu. The first track, A1, is somewhat similar to Jaipon from Indonesia, with Baniel and Nana's extended vocals/chorus against a light rhythm section of rumba rhythms beaten to 8 beats at double speed. B1 features bright horns and electric guitars at the forefront, intertwined with Franco's spoken word. The songs with the two female singers in the front are great, but the best one is B2, where Franco and the female singer sing alternately in a rare minor key.

A1: Les On Dit
B2: Flora Une Femme Difficile
