This album was released in 1987 by Lucy Torsina, a singer of dangdut, one of Indonesia's popular pop music styles. We don't know much about Lucy Torsina at all, but this is probably a licensed LP of a locally released cassette album. The sound is very good, as it is a Japanese release. The singer seems to be a sexy, but the percussion, distorted guitars and electronic organs make for a frantic and joyful sound that is somewhat similar to Indian or Arab popular music. The melody is very Asian, with a hint of Japanese song. It is also very danceable. Tandut is very interesting music.
