The latest 2025 album by Gdańsk-based Polish synthesist Maciek Polak, a city on the Baltic coast. Centered around the massive semi-modular Korg PS-3300 — of which only about 50 units were ever produced between 1977 and 1981 — the album also features its more affordable successor, the PS-3100, along with a Roland phase shifter and a modern BOSS loop station, crafting a collection of nostalgic yet pure electronic music. The textures and tones evoke a similar sensibility to that of Satoshi & Makoto, celebrated for their mastery of the Casio CZ series. Highly recommended.
