A double album released in 1975 by Marion Brown, an American jazz saxophonist who actively performed on the front lines from the 1960s to 2000. Disc 1 features recordings from 1970 in a duo with trumpeter Leo Smith, while Disc 2 includes recordings from 1973 in a duo with pianist Elliott Schwartz. The sessions showcase innovative tendencies unique to the 1970s, with both musicians not only playing their main instruments but also engaging in percussion. Tracks like A2, where various percussion sounds float through the space, and C1, which transitions from Schwartz's trippy sounds on the Arp Synthesizer to mysterious solo acoustic piano, offer a captivating listening experience. Highly recommended.
