This is the remarkable debut album released in 1981 by Michael Hedges, an American acoustic guitarist known for his extraordinary technique. Using alternate tunings on his acoustic guitar, Hedges produces solid attack sounds and flowing arpeggios, showcasing his impressive playing skills and the brilliance of his compositions. The high-quality recording enhances the richness of the sound, enveloping the listener. This album is as outstanding as his second album, "Aerial Boundaries," which was featured in the first edition of the guidebook "Obscure Sound." Along with Steve Tibbetts, there are indeed some amazing guitarists from the American country/folk scene.
