Michael Vetter, who left behind numerous spiritual and meditational works rooted in the truths of Buddhism, such as chants and solo performances on the unique vocal technique and tambura, released a masterpiece album in 1987 as the fourth installment of the "Zen Music" series. Following "Zen Glocken," this album consists entirely of meditative solo performances on the Indian classical instrument tambura. Throughout, the soft yet stimulating drone of the tambura, floating minimally in the acoustic space, continues endlessly, offering the pinnacle of meditation music. It's curious how the sustained tones sound akin to a synthesizer. Depending on the listening environment, one can experience a sensation akin to floating. It's a record to be listened to attentively, immersing oneself in the soundscape.
