The album features AACM members such as Joseph Jarman, Douglas Ewart, Amina Claudine Myers, and Thurman Barker from the Art Ensemble of Chicago. Highlights include track A2, which features Jarman's poetry reading, and track B3, where Abrams' ever-shifting piano contrasts brilliantly with the reeds.
