A 2008 CD album by British singer Norma Winstone, who has left numerous masterpieces on ECM as part of the group Azimuth with Kenny Wheeler and John Taylor. This drum-less trio features Glauco Venier (piano) and Klaus Gesing (bass clarinet, soprano saxophone). As the artwork suggests, the album paints scenes of urban street corners with an atmosphere of serene tranquility throughout. Winstone’s signature floating vocals gently whisper over the delicate performances, creating an exceptionally beautiful experience. Highly recommended. Original German pressing.
