Super guitarist Pat Metheny's masterpiece solo album released on ECM in 1979. Metheny played electric guitar, 12-string guitar, acoustic guitar, 15-string harp guitar and electric bass on this multi-recorded, completely self-performed album. It is one of Metheny's deepest inner-cosmic albums. It's an album of inner-cosmic music as deep as any of Pat Metheny's work, and one that shares similarities with American guitarist Steve Tibbetts' masterpiece Northern Song. It's just wonderful.
