Since the mid-1960s, an album released in 1987 by the American saxophonist Pharoah Sanders, who joined John Coltrane's group, suggesting a new form of jazz together and inheriting that intention even after Coltrane's death, leaving behind numerous spiritual jazz masterpieces. Leon Thomas (vo), Donald Smith (p), William S. Henderson III (p), Tarik Shah (b), and Greg Banoy (ds) participate. While the superb reggae tune A1 sung by Leon Thomas is undoubtedly impressive, the blues tune B1 with Thomas on vocals and the energetic and emotionally charged spiritual jazz B2 are also exceptionally wonderful. Highly recommended.
A1: Oh Lord, Let Me Do No Wrong
B2: Claer Out of This World
