This is the second album released in 1983 by Shadow Fax, an American progressive jazz-rock band, after they moved to Windham Hill. The album also features some ethnic music influenced sounds and contemporary jazz similar to ECM, such as B1, a cover of Don Cherry's classic songs "Brown Rice" and "Karmapa Chenno," as well as symphonic performances that retain traces of the progressive rock era.
