This is a live recording of a performance by Japanese percussionist Tsutomu Yamashita, who has been active in the field of classical and contemporary music since the late 1960s and has made a name for himself, at the Tokyo Bunka Kaikan in 1971. Japanese percussionists Roetsu Tosha and Yoshimine Tosha participated. According to the liner notes, side B is a three-movement piece composed for a performance with Roetsu Tosha and Suho Tosha while staying at Toru Takemitsu's house after returning to Japan in secret in 1970. This is the original Master Sonic direct cutting PCM recording.
