American guitarist Tal Farlow, who joined Red Norvo's group in the early 1950s and later collaborated with Gil Melle, released this leader album on Blue Note in 1954. It features an unconventional quartet with Don Arnone (guitar), Clyde Lambardi (bass), and Joe Morello (drums). The album showcases impressive elements, such as the high-speed racing rhythm section and the delicate yet smooth fast-paced guitar in A1. B1 stands out with enjoyable interplay between Arnone and Farlow's double guitars. Despite its orthodox style, the album shines with individuality, making it a classic in the realm of guitar jazz. B2, a gracefully grooving cool jazz piece, is also recommended. This is a Japanese reissue released in 1995 from Toshiba EMI's "Blue Note Original 5000 Series Again!".
A1: Lover
B2: All Through The Night
