Norwegian guitarist Terje Rypdal is known for his cutting edge playing with a touch of rock. This quintet album consists of Barre Phillips (b), Jon Christensen (perc, organ), Erik Niord Larsen (oboe) and Sveinung Hovensjo (b). Minimalist phrase-looping bass, noisy and cosmic guitar, and mysterious sound of double bass with bowing technique make this album. This is a very deep jazz album with the influence of Miles Davis.
