This is an album released in 1975 by Toru Takemitsu, one of Japan's greatest composers, who took on the challenge of composing music with a variety of experimental intentions that transcended the boundaries of contemporary music. This album contains three compositions, in which he created an opportunity to encounter the music of shakuhachi and biwa, two Japanese instruments that have never met in history. Shakuhachi was played by Katsuya Yokoyama, and Biwa was played by Kinshi Tsuruta. B1 "Eclipse" is Takemitsu's first composition for Japanese instruments, which was also performed by Yokoyama and Tsuruta at the premiere. A1 "Autumn" was composed in 1973 for a recital by Tsuruta, and was written in the Western music form of staff notation. A2, "Ten Steps from "November Steps,"" is the tenth and longest step of an eleven-step piece composed in 1967. All of them are wonderfully performed with a sense of tension and spirituality reminiscent of the silence of a misty bamboo forest.

A1: 《秋》抄
A2: 《ノヴェンバー・ステップス》より10段
