A double album released in 1983 by the large ensemble group Vienna Art Orchestra, led by Swiss composer Mathias Ruegg, who also left behind the eccentric From No Art to Mo-(2)-Art under the Vienna Art Choir name in 1983. The group features unconventional artists like Herbert Joos, Wolfgang Puschnig, and Lauren Newton. The album includes a live recording of a concert held at the Mühle Hunziken venue in Rubigen, Switzerland, in 1982. While the theme is ragtime, an early jazz style, the group's distinctive experimental spirit and wit shine throughout this thrilling performance. Lauren Newton’s vocal performance is especially captivating. Highly recommended.
