A leader album released in 1973 by guitarist Sunao Wada, who was based in Nagoya at the time and ran his own jazz club, "Coco." The album features a quartet with Takehiro Honda (piano), Mitsuaki Furuno (bass), and Arihide Kurata (drums), and also includes contributions from Kunji Shigi (flugelhorn) and Kenji Mori (alto saxophone) in a sextet formation. In addition to original compositions by Wada and Honda, the album includes a cover of a blues number by Charlie Parker. The work prominently showcases Wada's signature blues style, with tracks like A1, which sways at a medium tempo, and the fast-paced A3. Wada's guitar performance is, of course, outstanding, and Honda's blues-filled performance is also exceptional. The original pressing is priced at 2,000 yen and includes a booklet.
A1: One’s Blues
A3: Guitar’s Time
B2: Coco’s Blues
