Daishizen Tono Kaikou II : Umi
Denon (Japan) 1979
GX-7105 (LP) w/obi, insert.
sleeve : EX-(SRW, SOC, wear on edge and corner.)
media : EX/EX(some slightly surface noises.)
This album was released in 1979 from DENON's <Field Sound Series>, which employed PCM recording, the latest technology at that time. The sound of waves recorded in the Pacific Ocean, the Sea of Japan, and the East China Sea were recorded at 45 rpm with the technical cooperation of Digital Acoustics. The realistic sound spread over a stereo sound field is overwhelming and has a great chill-out effect. The sound of this era, when both digital recording technology and analog production technology in its infancy were available, is quite difficult to reproduce today. As stated on the obi, please use this recording to check the resolution, reproduction signal-to-noise ratio, and dynamic range of your cartridges and speakers.
