Album released in 1971 on Scholastic's <The Scholastic Black Literature Series>, an American label that released music and recordings for the educational sector, directed/produced by Nathan Garner. It features two storytelling and three poetry readings by seven Black Poets, including director/actor Marc Primus, who has directed numerous off-Broadway productions, and James Harris, who played Malcom X in the play El Haji Malik. A number of titles in this series were released in the same year, and some of the titles are very interesting as some of them feature music by Natural Essence, with Buddy Williams and Nat Adderley.
