sleeve : EX(SRW, slightly wear on corner.)
media : EX/EX-(some slightly noise. B1 has some light noise.)
This is a 1982 artist compilation album by Ney Matogrosso, the vocalist of the Brazilian psychedelic band Secos e Molhados, which left behind two striking albums in the 1970s. Featuring selections from his first four solo works—from the brilliant 1975 debut Água Do Céu Pássaro, introduced in the guidebook Obscure Sound: 640 Arcadian Records, through 1977’s Pecado—it presents an outstanding collection of tracks. From early psychedelic-tinged rock that showcases Matogrosso’s bewitching voice to covers of classic Portuguese fado songs, the album is an exceptional listen. Very highly recommended.
A3: Mae Preta (Barco Negro)
A6: Homem de Neanderthal
B1: Bodas
