An album released by Egberto Gismonti, a composer/guitarist/pianist whom Brazil boasts to the world, on ECM in 1977. His close friend Nana Vasconcelos fully participates. This is a magnificent unplugged session overflowing with physical sensation and energy, featuring A2, an acoustic version of the opening track from the masterpiece "Coracoes Futuristas" released on EMI Brazil the previous year, as well as Nana's primitive percussion and Gismonti's 8-string acoustic guitar melodies that pour down like a squall, making you feel as if you've wandered into the Amazon jungle. Gismonti's brilliant acoustic piano performance on side B is also superb. Although finely divided into tracks, both sides are profound suites exceeding 24 minutes. This is a domestic release from 1983 from Polydor's series, with an insert.
