This album, released in 1972, is by Fairuz, the renowned Lebanese songstress who has been actively performing for over half a century, starting from 1949 and even releasing new works at the age of 75 in 2010. The album features live recordings from the concert "<Nass Men Warak>" held in San Francisco, California. The compositions are by the Rahbani Brothers, consisting of Fairuz's husband Assi and his brother Mansour, both prolific in creating many of Fairuz's songs. The orchestration is rich with the folk sentiments deeply reflecting Lebanese traditions, creating a vivid portrayal of dramatic scenes through orchestral arrangements and choruses. Fairuz's singing, needless to say, is magnificent. Highly recommended.
