This album was released in 1984 by Francois Luambo Makiadi Lokanga La Djo Pene (a.k.a. Franco) and his group T.P.O.K. Jazz, who have been active in Congo's popular music scene since the 1950s. With the soulful and groovy performance by T.P.O.K. Jazz as a backdrop, this album is a masterpiece of rumba congolese. A1 is a long song with Franco's narrative vocals and an ear-catching chorus melody. B1 and B2 have a more laid-back groove that is very pleasant. This is a great album that shows why it is a national singer. It comes with a lyric card with translations in Lingala and French/English.
