Released in 1981, this album features Irakere, one of Cuba's most famous groups, and Leo Brouer, a guitarist who contributed to the development of Cuban music as director of The Instituto Cubano del Arte e Industria Cinematograficos. A2 is an aggressive Cuban jazz album with Irakele's overwhelming performance, while B3 features Brower's acoustic guitar and adult arrangements. The melancholy and groove in the dry tones is intoxicating and wonderful.
