Released in 1990 as part of the "Collana Strumento DDD" series edited by the Italian guitarist Ricardo Zappa, this duo album features harpist Licia Consoli and guitarist Giuseppe Leopizzi. Both musicians have been active from the late 1970s to the present, exploring a wide range of genres from folk-rock to progressive rock and even New Age. While Consoli and Leopizzi seem to have remained relatively unknown outside of this collaboration, possibly discovered by Zappa himself, their album showcases a masterpiece of New Age-infused ethno-acoustic music. The delicate melodies of the harp, evoking the roots of Celtic music, blend seamlessly with the leisurely strokes of the acoustic guitar throughout the album. The reverberant soundscapes formed add to the immersive experience. Highly recommended. This is a dead stock unused item that we opened the shrink wrap for condition check at our store.
