Akiko Yano, a composer, singer, and pianist, has been active as a session musician with Caramel Mama (Tin Pan Alley), led by Haruomi Hosono, and has participated in various artists' works as a keyboardist and chorus player. This album was released in 1986 by composer/singer/pianist Akiko Yano. Yuuji Takahashi and Ryuichi Sakamoto joined her on piano. This album is a hidden masterpiece that allows you to enjoy Akiko Yano's distinctive vocals and wonderful piano performance throughout the album, which mainly features acoustic piano and vocals on songs by Debussy and Stravinsky. In particular, the four songs from A1 to A4, which are poems by Shuntaro Tanikawa and Masashi Oka with melodies by Yuji Takahashi, are so wonderful that they will touch your heart. I feel that this is the starting point of Akiko Yano's current live performances and various works.
