MV-737-S (7”) w/company’s paper sleeve
sleeve : VG+(SRW,WC,light-faded.)
media : EX-/EX-(some light noise due to light scratches.)

This 7-inch single features the Chiba folk song "Oitoko-bushi" and the Yamanashi folk song "Ichikawa Bunju". The song is sung by Kumiko Kashima and performed by Shizuko and Toyofuji on the shamisen and Victor Orchestra. The A-side "Oitoko-bushi" is a Chiba Prefecture “Minyo” folk song, but it is sung in a wide range of areas, and is now popular as a minyo in Miyagi and Iwate prefectures. It seems to have its original roots in Chiba Prefecture. The B-side, "Ichikawa Monju," is a minyo from Yamanashi Prefecture, popularly known as "Kofu Bon-uta," and is a “Bon-odori” dance song that incorporates the sentiment and atmosphere of the Edo period into its lyrics. Toshiyuki Tsuchitori, an avant-garde musician who now pursues Japanese folk music, also performed the "New Otoko-bushi".
