This album was released in 1982 by 2002 GR, a four-piece pop rock band from Athens, Greece, formed by singer Ilias Asvestopoulos, who played in a garage band called Persons in the 1960s, and debuted in 1974. Coming from a garage band, the album mainly features rock'n'roll based beat rock and punkish rock reminiscent of The Clash, but it also features trippy analog synthesizers. One of the most interesting tracks is A5, an ethno-rock track with a melody work based on Greek folk music and exotic percussion, which has an obscure feel similar to Baris Mancho of Turkey. B3, a laid-back rock song with a reggae rhythm, is also recommended. (Chee)
