Released in 1982, this image album was created for Ryoko Yamagishi’s shōjo manga Hi Izuru Tokoro no Tenshi by Shō Itō, keyboardist of Far East Family Band—the group that debuted under the production of Klaus Schulze as Japan’s first progressive rock band. After leaving the band, Itō went on to release numerous works of new-age electronic music. While carrying forward the musical aesthetic of his earlier trilogy in the Psychological Music series, the album develops into an Oriental electronic new-age work inspired by the legends surrounding Prince Umayado, better known as Prince Shōtoku.
