Albert Mangelsdorff
A Jazz Tune Hope
MPS Records/Teichiku Records (Japan) 1979
KUX-130-P (LP) w/insert(slightly color-faded.)
sleeve : EX+(very slightly wear on edge and corner, still good condition.)
media : NM-/NM-(some very slightly surface noises, still fine condition.)

The album was released in 1979 by Albert Mangelsdorff, a trombonist from Frankfurt, Germany, who has left many masterpieces with a free approach, including the famous album "Albert Mngelsdorff and His Friends" released in 1969, in which Don Cherry and Wolfgang Dauner participated. A quartet with Wolfgang Dauner, Eddie Gomez and Elvin Jones. The work is almost modal in its approach, but the singularity that lies within it stands out. The rhythm section of Jones and Gomez and Dauner's piano are excellent and enhance Mengelsdorff's uninhibited trombone performance.
